The Domestique Team

Meet our all important team members

Domestique was born in July 2005. And born of the frustration and problems Georgina and Leigh had when they first tried to employ their own domestic cleaners and domestic cleaning companies after the birth of their first child. They realised that maybe there were a lot of people like themselves who weren’t getting the more flexible service they wanted or deserved. So in Spring 2005 they decided to start their very own domestic cleaning service.

  • Leigh Prendiville

    Leigh Prendiville – Managing Director. Leigh has been in the cleaning sector since 1999 his experience is managing complex logistics and manpower. In addition to his previous role with Royal Mail he has also worked as a manager for Tesco. Before this he was in hospitality where keeping accommodation clean was a key area of responsibility. He has a keen eye for detail and appreciates that quality and cleanliness are fundamental to excellent customer service, not just in hotels but in homes too.

  • Georgina Prendiville

    Georgina Prendiville – Director. Georgina is originally from Mexico where her father owned a hotel on the Pacific coast. She is meticulous and has an unrivalled eye for detail. Since moving to the UK she has worked for Mars UK in Slough. But now she devotes her time to helping with Domestique and bringing up two little boys, Oliver and Oscar.

  • Sheila Bunyan

    Sheila Bunyan – Office Manager. Sheila joined us in 2008 and she leads the operation in our Bracknell office. Her ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously makes her ideal to run our very busy office. Sheila has lead responsibility for ensuring new clients get the best possible cleaner, with the minimum of hassle.

  • Melanie Prendiville is Leigh’s sister and recently joined us to take over the recruitment side of the business. ‘Mel’ has previously worked in the city for a leading PR company. Her well-practiced interviewing technique helps ensure we select only the best cleaners.

  • June Weightman is the most recent addition to our head office. She supports Sheila in the daily management of all arrangements for our cleaning services. June takes the lead role in customer service and in ensuring our customers are always kept informed and up to date.

  • Tony runs Gardeneer and Paul runs Grassroots. Both these companies offer high quality garden maintenance services to our clients with specially negotiated rates. In addition to maintenance, landscaping projects are also undertaken.

  • John Hunter runs Premier Window cleaning and can also offer our clients special rates for regular window and conservatory cleaning services.

  • Les Davies and Keith Bushnell offer high quality and reliable oven valet service to our customers. Les runs a franchise of Ovenu whilst Keith has a small independent company.

  • Paul Lynch is our retained carpet cleaning professional. He owns a franchise of the renowned carpet cleaning company Chemdry. His services are second to none and, through Domestique, he offers our customers special one off and regular carpet cleaning prices.
